Why can’t I add or see prices of dinning plans when I’m trying to book my vacation?

    Hi Tiffany,

How exciting that you're making plans to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth...and soon! With the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival going on and all of the beauty, fun, and delicious bites and beverages, you're going to LOVE it!

Under the phased reopening, Disney Dining Plans are still not available for purchase or use, which is why you can't add one or see current prices. You're certainly not alone in wanting to add a Disney Dining Plan, as many of us are wishing on a star that they'll be available again soon. I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, and if they do happen to return between now and your trip, you should be able to add one to your vacation package. If not, I have a suggestion for you. Why not purchase Disney Gift Cards in the amount you would have spent on the Disney Dining Plan? While it's not quite as magical as being able to use entitlements and choose whatever sounds best to you at each restaurant, it's still a great way to prepay for all of your meals and snacks! If you have any money left over at the end of your visit, you can either purchase some prepackaged Goofy's Candy Company treats (which is also what I recommend doing with any leftover Disney Dining Plan snack credits) or treat yourself to a special souvenir to remember your incredible vacation.

As you're planning your trip, don't forget that dining reservations are highly recommended for most of the table-service locations, and since they open up 60 days in advance, you'll be able to make them now, even if you haven't yet booked your trip. Also, please be sure to make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as you've purchased your tickets and linked them to your My Disney Experience account. In fact, I'd recommend checking the availability calendar beforehand just to make sure you'll be able to visit the parks as planned.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Tiffany, and please don't hesitate to come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
