MagicBands during your stay is such a convenient way to access the theme parks, enter your Disney Resort hotel room, and even pay for dining and merchandise during your visit.
This is such a great question, Kevin. When it comes to
adding MagicBands to Guests' accounts, you will only be able to do so for
My Disney Experience accounts that you manage. For example, if you travel with children or adults
whose account you created, you will be able to add bands on their behalf. You will not be able to manage or modify MagicBands or Key to the World Cards for Guests who manage their own accounts, even if you are linked as Family & Friends. But Hakuna Matata, your travel party will still be able to activate their own bands through the My Disney Experience app.
Pro tip: You can do this together (in person) if you have members of your travel party who are not familiar with MagicBand setup. I have done this a time or two for friends, and found it to be helpful for all! Be sure they have
downloaded the My Disney Experience app on their device, and have their band handy to get linked in no time.
