Using the
My Disney Experience app to keep track of your must-dos is such a great way to stay organized during your upcoming adventure. It's your own pocket-sized planning guide you can use on the go. Let's go over using Disney Genie, so you can get your favorites lined up and start planning out the best day ever!
Jana, you can
get started with Disney Genie by selecting
Upcoming Plans on the home screen of the My Disney Experience app. If you do not see this option, tap the three bars at the bottom of the app. Then select the
My Plans option. Once you are on the
My Plans page, tap
Add Preferences. Next, you'll select the date you wish to plan for, your park, and your travel party. Then it's time for the fun! You can choose your must-try experiences, entertainment, and dining. You can also add character preferences, park interests, and so much more. Then Disney Genie will create a magical day for you to follow, or to just help keep you on track. And you can make changes anytime!
You can also use your My Disney Experience app to keep track of wait times, find character greeting locations, and
make Lightning Lane selections. You can even use the app to place
Mobile Food and Beverage Orders, which is an amazing way to save time (and place orders with the whole crew without those last-minute changes in line).
Pro tip: Be sure to add a portable charger for your device to your park bag, so your app is always ready to use!
