Hi Danielle!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There have been recent updates to the
Disney Park Rules so I'm glad you stopped by so we could help in planning your future visit!
New rules were implemented, that will be
effective May 1, 2019, that are being put in place to try and ease congestion and make the overall experience of visiting Disneyland Resort better for the vast majority of Guests. Unfortunately, stroller wagons are no longer permitted to try and create a better flow throughout both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. When my nephew was six years old, we also went through the debate of whether or not to bring a stroller. We ultimately didn't bring one and it was wondEARfully freeing to be able to maneuver throughout the day without a stroller in tow. Just after our large dinner, he did become a tad tired so we rented a stroller for him to enjoy the fireworks from. It may not hurt to give it a try and you always have the option to rent, which my rather tall six year old nephew was still able to comfortably take a break in.
I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit! Please come back if we can help in any other way.
