If my whole party joins a boarding group is there rider switch available for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance? We are traveling with a 5 month old and 2 year old who definitely cannot ride. Thanks!

Bright suns, Nicole! I see you have a journey planned to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge coming up in a few short days! I'd be happy to share my "Traveler's Guide to Batuu" with you!

If you're a Force-sensitive fan, then you may already be aware that Black Spire Outpost is a 14-acre settlement on the planet of Batuu, and it is home to encampments for the Resistance and First Order. If you happen to run into Rey during your travels, you can show your support for the Resistance by telling her to "Ignite the Spark!"

One place you're sure to see her is in the brand new attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where actors from the current Star Wars film trilogy reprise their roles for scenes in the ride; I know you'll be amazed by the trackless technology that has been implemented! Since you have younglings traveling with you who are not yet strong enough with the Force, then utilizing Disney's Rider Switch Service is the way to go! Make sure to join a Boarding Group as soon as you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios by opening the My Disney Experience mobile app. Then you will be assigned your Boarding Group number and estimated ride time. Once your Boarding Group is called, let a Cast Member working the attraction queue know you'd like to partake in Rider Switch, and they will be happy to help you.

If you need to refuel after completing your mission, I suggest going to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and have delicious entrees with very unique names. I love the Fried Endorian Tip Yip (it's chicken with potatoes), and the desserts are out of this world (the Oi-Oi Puff is excellent)!

May the Force be with You, Nicole!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
