My whole family (parents, sister and family of 4 and my family of 4 - total of 9) are all planning a trip to Disney world in December. What is the cheapest way for us to book a package? As separate or all together. We will probably get 3 rooms. Thanks

    Hi Stefanie,

I love that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts in December. The weather is nice and the parks are extra magical. Make sure you visit the different resorts as they are beautifully decorated for the holidays.

You might want to look into booking a grand villa that can hold everyone in one space. While initially it might be more money, you can find a savings with this type of room. You would have access to a full kitchen which could save on your food budget. Even if you eat breakfast in the room, pack snacks, some lunches and purchase water, you can save on your food budget. Online grocers such as the Garden Grocer offer fair prices and will deliver to your resort. In addition, you also will have a washer and dryer. With airlines charging fees for checked bags, you could reduce your luggage to a carry on and do a load while on vacation.

If you would prefer separate rooms, the only advantage to having one person book the trip is to make sure your room reservations are linked. This helps keep rooms next to one another.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
