    Hi! We're going to Whis Cany. on 10/18 for dinner coming from AK. How long would it take to get to there & is there a certain way you'd recommend? Also, can my picky son just order chicken nuggets (instead of the grilled chicken) on the kids menu??

    Hi Kristen! Whispering Canyon is a rowdy spot for dinner -- the servers there keep the restaurant bustling with humor and activity! You can take the bus from the Animal Kingdom park directly to the Wilderness Lodge, where Whispering Canyon is located. The ride takes about 25 minutes or so, but be sure to factor in an extra 15 minutes in case you have to wait for a bus to arrive.

    My picky son often orders items that don't appear on the menus at Disney restaurants, and most restaurants are quite accommodating. My son's meal of choice is a grilled cheese sandwich, and Whispering Canyon did serve him one even though it's not listed on their menu. Chicken nuggets aren't on the menu at Whispering Canyon, so I can't guarantee that your son can get them there, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Nuggets are served at the nearby Roaring Fork quick-service location so there's a good chance the kitchen could provide some for him. (If not, you can always pick his meal up at the Roaring Fork after your dinner at Whispering Canyon.)
