Hiya, Matt!
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are already dreaming about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation next spring. It won't be long now until you are immersed in all that Disney magic.
Matt,
groceries can be received at
Walt Disney World Resort hotels, including groceries from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods. If you are thinking of having an Amazon
package sent ahead of time to the Resort, the Resorts can receive mail and packages on behalf of Guests. Be sure to include the following:
Name of the Resort
ATTN: Your Name (note that you are a GUEST and your arrival date)
Mailing Address of the Disney Resort HotelNote that for any packages received on your behalf at the Front Desk, a $6 service fee will be applied to your room per package (subject to change.) This is regardless if you pick it up from the Front Desk or if it is delivered to your room.
If you have groceries delivered, you will also be charged a $6 fee if
Bell Services delivers groceries to your room. If you meet the delivery in the lobby and bring them to your room yourself, you can avoid this fee for groceries only. Please note that some of the Resorts can't store groceries or perishable items, so my recommendation is to always be sure to time the delivery for when you will be at the Resort and can receive the delivery, especially if you have perishable items arriving. You can read more about
receiving and sending mail and packages from Disney Resorts, as well as grocery delivery, here. I hope this helps you, Matt, and I will wish upon a star you have a magical vacation! Stop back and see us if you have any further Disney planning questions.
See ya real soon!
Keri
