Hey there, Mary!
I’m so thrilled to welcome you to planDisney! And oh my goodness…your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner! That countdown feeling is the best, isn’t it? I bet you’re getting so excited thinking about all the fun, the snacks, the rides, and those magical moments waiting for you. You’re almost there!
Magic Kingdom currently has three designated wheelchair viewing areas for both the
Festival of Fantasy Parade and the nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight.
The first spot is right at the start of Main Street, U.S.A., near the Fire Station. The second is in Liberty Square, along the parade route near Liberty Square Market. The third is in Frontierland, near Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café and across from Country Bear Jamboree. You can see all of these locations clearly marked on the
Magic Kingdom Map for Guests with Disabilities, and you can also access this map right from your
My Disney Experience app under “Guides for Guests with Disabilities,” which is super helpful when planning your day.
For
fireworks, there’s one designated wheelchair viewing area located just before the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. Since it’s the only reserved spot for fireworks, I’d recommend getting there at least 30 minutes early, as it tends to fill up quickly.
Mary, I hope this helps as you get ready for your trip! I’m so excited for you...it’s going to be such a magical time! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Kami
