can we do whatever we want in disney wish or do you have to book it

    Hey there, Amber!

Glad to "sea" you with another question. You've come to the right place so let's dive in!

When you book a Disney Cruise Line vacation, you'll enjoy tons of activity options from Character Greetings, movies, Deck Parties, incredible dining, and even nightly Broadway-style entertainment. Most of these activities are included at no additional cost, and won't require any advance planning on your part aside from keeping track of when all the fun is scheduled to happen. Pro-tip: you can use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App the minute you step aboard to review the full schedule and even "heart" your favorites throughout your sailing. We always take time to do this knowing we'll get a reminder as all our marked activities are set to begin each day. If you've ever spent time watching late-night infomercials, you'll know all about this "set it, and forget it" strategy.

While most of the fun requires you just to show up and enjoy, some experiences do require pre-booking. If you have any princess fans in your travel party you'll want to try to secure complimentary tickets to the Royal Gathering. You should be able to reserve this experience online via "My Cruise Activities" 30 days in advance of your sailing, but many more activities will be available to pre-book according to your Castaway Club level.

Aside from Port Adventures, my favorite experiences to reserve are Adult Dining and spa treatments. These do come with an additional charge, but my husband and I always consider it money well spent. We've had the pleasure of dining at Remy on Disney Fantasy and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement on Disney Wish and both meals have been some of the top culinary experiences of my life.

I'd also like to mention that while many activities like trivia, movies and performances are included in your cruise fare, they are first come first served. Seating in some of the smaller venues can go fast, so if you have your heart set on a particular experience, you'll want to be there early to secure your spot. Thankfully, many are offered more than once during a voyage so I'm confident you'll be able to enjoy many of your must-dos.

If you need additional recommendations or guidance as you prepare to set sail, please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. We're always glad to help!

    Magic and memories,
