We've visited WDW multiple times and always had a hopper pass. This year we are staying on the resort and only got the base ticket. Is it possible to switch over to the hopper pass (obviously paying for it) after our stay has begun?

Absolutely. It is easy to upgrade a base ticket to a Park Hopper ticket during your vacation. Simply go to any theme park ticket window or guest relations office and they will be able to complete the transaction. You will only pay the difference between the base price and the Hopper price.

As you make your decision, you should remember that adding the Park Hopper option is a flat fee, regardless of the number of ticket days you have. Prices can change, but currently the rate to add hopping is $45 whether you have a one-day ticket or a ten-day ticket. If you're going to add Hopping, it makes the most sense to do this early in your trip so that you can take maximum advantage of this option.

    Have a great trip!
