Welcome to planDisney, Genevieve, and a great big Disney thank you for your service. How wonderful that you've been visiting
Walt Disney World Resort for a decade! That is absolutely magical. My husband is from a military family and was the youngest of six children. His family has so much fun traveling together to this day, so I hope your family continues the tradition for years to come.
I contacted a Cast Member at
Shades of Green, and she told me that the current policy is that each military member can only purchase a maximum of six
Theme Park Tickets per year using the military discount. If both spouses are eligible, then up to 12 tickets could be purchased, and children under three do not need a park ticket. If only one spouse is eligible, then six tickets are the maximum. When I asked about possible exceptions, she said there are currently none given.
I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, Genevieve, but the Cast Member did add that you can request the additional ticket on the
ticket form found on the Shades of Green website. She said you would add a separate line requesting one
Magic Your Way Ticket. This one-park per-day ticket will reflect a discount depending on your dates. Please be sure to make
Theme Park Reservations for all members of your party once you have your park tickets.
I notice your visit coincides with the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! Please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates about events and activities during the festival. The
Garden Rocks Concert Series is always fun for all ages, and I love seeing all the Disney characters as topiaries.
I hope your family makes some fantastic memories on your visit, Genevieve! Please feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
