Hi, we’ve purchased tickets for my out of town sister her husband and their daughter as well as for us and our family. Just relocated here as well. But my question is if we’ve purchased all these tickets will there be any issues getting In the park?

Hi Emily and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy to see that you have a plan in the works for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family this coming September!

It’s so generous of you to treat your family to a fun-filled visit to the happiest place on earth! While your intentions are great, anyone over the age of 18 must show Proof of Florida Residency in the form of a government issued ID or utility bill to be able to use a Florida Resident ticket. This would mean that you would be able to purchase a Florida Resident ticket for your niece (under the age of 18) and your immediate family, but the rest of your family members who live out of state would not be able to use a Florida Resident ticket and would need to purchase an out-of-state guest theme park ticket.

Florida Resident tickets can be activated at will call/ Guest Relations locations at Disney Springs and any other  Guest Relations or ticket windows at all four Disney theme and water parks.

Emily, as you continue your planning, don’t forget to factor in the fun autumn offerings available to you during your visit. The 2018 Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing. You’ll also have the chance to play big at Disney’s Hollywood Studios new Toy Story Land. Andy really outdid himself with his Slinky Dog roller coaster!

Don’t hesitate to drop by and see us if you have any additional questions!
