We've purchased the 2015 Quick Service Dining Plan for our upcoming trip in Dec. My question is about redeeming a quick service meal for 3 snack credits. For example, if I wanted to give up a quick service meal to redeem three dole whips could this be

    Aloha Amy!

Mmmm…. now I have Dole Whip Floats on my mind! My family has been enjoying the famous Dole Whip at Walt Disney World since I was a kid, and no trip is complete without a visit to Aloha Isle for one of these tropical treats.

This year, there were some changes made to the Disney Dining Plan, to make it more flexible and a better value for Guests. One of these changes is that it allows Guests to exchange a Quick Service Entitlement for three snack items. This exchange must be done in a single transaction. So, while you can exchange your meal for three snacks, you must take all those snacks at one time, you cannot take one snack now and save the other two credits to be redeemed at another date or time.

To my knowledge, when we were at Walt Disney World on our last vacation, most items at Aloha Isle were eligible as a snack credit. My only concern, is that those I know that have done the exchange for three snacks have done it at actual Quick Service dining locations. So while I believe you should be able to make this exchange, I can’t promise this will be the case. I would take a swing by Aloha Isle as soon as you are able to be sure that you will be allowed to do this. If it turns out you cannot, I certainly think a Dole Whip is well worth the use of a Snack Entitlement!

Wising you a magical, unforgettable and tropically refreshing Walt Disney World vacation!
