We've loved staying at Wilderness Lodge but have heard that transportation to the parks from that resort has added many stops in recent years. Is there a way to find out estimated transport times (using Disney) to each park during our stay?

    Hi Julie,

The Disney transportation routes are constantly changing, sometimes from hour to hour, so it's a bit hard to predict exactly how much time you'll be spending in transit. I have personally stayed at the Wilderness Lodge many times over the years and haven't noticed any overall change it how long it takes me to go from place to place.

That being said, I will tell you about a tool that I use often - the "Transportation Wizard" at the independent website ourlaughingplace.com. You can input your desired start and end points, and they'll give you several possible routes and the estimated travel time with each route.

Also, if you own a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, or can borrow one from the library, they have a chart which gives average transit times from point A to point B at Disney World. These charts are based on meticulous research and can be very helpful in budgeting your travel time.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
