We've gone to some of the excellent buffets at Disney World but they recommend (if I remember right) a 17% tip. If we are serving ourselves save for maybe a glass of wine or a beer, what should the rule of thumb be for tipping at a Disneybuffet? Thanks.

Great question David! I must say with my family, servers work much harder when we dine at a buffet! The kids (actually, the adults too) tend to go back countless times, trying different things, resulting in many visits from the server in cleaning up after them/us. They are also back and forth refilling beverages. That being said, I tip based on service, which for me is typically between 15% and 20%. This is totally at your discretion, and I'm sure you'll have servers who are worthy of more, and some less.

    Hope this helps David!
