We've been to Disney World dozens of times on the meal plan. I'm trying to find out the cost of the average buffet meal per person, child and adult. Say....Cape May Cafe?

    Hi Eric!

I'll be glad to give you some ballpark prices for buffet dining at Walt Disney World.

Prices will vary depending on which meal is being served. In general, breakfast is almost always the least expensive and dinner the most expensive. As a guideline, Character dining is usually more expensive than non-Character dining. Another factor is the time of year: Peak holiday travel dates may have a higher price than normal travel dates.

For Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, a Character Breakfast per adult will cost approximately $26 to $30 (depending on the time of year), while a child price ranges between $13 and $17. At dinner time, Cape May Clam Bake dinner will cost approximately $38 to $43, and the children's meal between $18 and $20. Gratuity is additional.

Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which offers buffet meals without Characters is slightly less expensive for breakfast. Adult breakfasts run about $20 to $25 and children's breakfasts $11 to $14 (approximately). Dinner is comparable to Cape May Cafe.

Of course, prices can change at any time, so please keep that in mind.

Hope that helps and please don't hesitate to let the Moms Panel know if we can help with additional trip details!
