Hi! We’ve changed our hotel. How do I remove the initial one from My Disney Experience App to add the new hotel ? Thanks , Teresa

Hiya, Teresa! Welcome back to planDisney!

For me, planning down to every detail feels magical when it comes to my Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I love adding a few more advance dining reservations, deciding on which new snacks to try, and even deciding on which Disney Resorts Collection hotel I want to immerse myself in during my trip! Just like you, I sometimes like to change our Disney Resort hotel to make sure that everything feels practically perfect in every way prior to my trip.

Teresa, there are a few ways to change which Disney Resort hotel you're staying at! To modify your resort reservation, log into your account, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans. Scroll down until you see your Disney Resort hotel reservation and click Change Reservation. If you modified this reservation online through your My Disney Experience account, this will be reflected in your My Disney Experience app as well. To see this change, log into your app and tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Tap Future Plans to see your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and any other reservations you have made. Sometimes you may need to pull down on your screen in the app to refresh the page, which will allow you to see this change reflected!

If you did not modify your reservation but instead created a new reservation, you may be seeing two Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations listed in your app. In this case, you would want to delete your original reservation. If you'd like to do this, my best piece of advice would be to make this change online. Log into your account, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans. Locate the original reservation that you'd like to delete, then click Cancel Reservation. Once you log into your My Disney Experience app, you may need to pull down on your screen to refresh the Future Plans page and see these changes!

I hope I was able to help you with your question today, Teresa! If the above steps didn't work out for you, my best tip would be to reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members. They'll be happy to take a peek at your reservations and make sure that only your most updated Disney Resorts Collection hotel is listed with your account. You can call a Cast Member or reach out to them in the Chat With Us section through your My Disney Experience app! Just have your reservation number handy to help the Cast Members locate your information easily and efficiently.

Also, be sure that you've made your Theme Park Reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to secure the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And check out everything that the My Disney Experience app has to offer before you arrive! A little like holding a magic wand in your hand, you can check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food.

If you have any other questions, please visit us again. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
