We've booked the Wanyama Safari - and we're wondering what time dinner ends. Would we have time to get back to Animal Kingdom for Rivers of Light?

    Hi Tina!

The Wanyama Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is on my list of magical adventures in the Enchanting Extras Collection that I would love to experience while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!

To begin your excursion, you will need to check in around 3:20 p.m. at the podium next to Jiko - The Cooking Place.  You can then enjoy the pre-safari reception from around 3:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. when your safari will depart.  Your safari adventure will last approximately 90 minutes, after which you will return to Jiko - The Cooking Place for a scrumptious multi-course meal!  The entire experience is expected to last about three and a half hours.  Because of this, I would expect dinner to end between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., which would make it very difficult to travel to Disney's Animal Kingdom and still be able to get good seats from which you could view Rivers of Light.

That being said, keep checking the schedule to see if a later showtime for Rivers of Light becomes available!  Some nights there are two shows, so you never know when you may have a little pixie-dusted luck!  If not, don't worry--you will just have another magical evening to enjoy!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
