We've booked our first Disney Cruise Mar8/2014 - 7 nights on the Fantasy. Will there be a character breakfast? Also, best guess for which night will be formal?

Welcome aboard, Heather! Next spring will be here before you know it, and you'll be first setting foot onto the beautiful Disney Fantasy as the Cast Members announce your family's name and applaud your arrival! What a way to begin a magical vacation at sea!

The Disney Fantasy does not currently offer character breakfasts, but believe me when I say that there will be tons of opportunities for interaction with your favorite Disney friends. Each day, the characters will be around the ship to participate in activities as well as meet for photos and autographs. Your Personal Navigator (listing of ship activities and events) will be delivered to your stateroom each night. Two entire lines on the schedule are dedicated to the character Meet n' Greets, letting you know when and where you can meet each of them. We love that they'll wear different costumes throughout the sailing, so you might get a photo with Captain Mickey one night, Pirate Mickey another night, and Mickey in his beachwear another day. It's such fun!

The Disney Fantasy usually holds Formal Night on the evening of your first sea day, so count on that second night onboard being Formal Night. There will be a Semi-Formal night later in the cruise as well. Don't forget pirate gear to wear on Pirate Night too!

I hope that helps, Heather. Let me know if I can answer any other questions over the next few months as you count down toward setting sail on the Fantasy!
