We've always loved watching wishes from the top of the world lounge as DVC members. With the new happily ever after show having those great castle projections is it better to watch from the park and if so where would you recommend for best viewing

Hi, Jeff! I am a Philly girl, through and through, and if the opportunity to enjoy the Happily Ever After Fireworks while enjoying those Philly-like soft pretzel bites and dip presents itself, that's the way I'm going every time.

The proximity of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom make it an excellent choice for watching the fireworks. From the Top of the World Lounge, you'll have an excellent view of the fireworks, as you know, but you will also be able to see some small smidge of the castle projections.

No, I'm not going to pretend you'll be able to see them clear as day. I may have thought I was looking at Quasimodo at one point and it was Moana, but boy did I enjoy that show. And my pretzels. And the 7-layer chocolate cake after the fireworks.

If you want to be up close and personal, which really is the best way to see the projections, my favorite spot is just to the left of the Partners Statue if you are facing the castle. You'll want to get there early, because it does get crowded, but that is my favorite viewing spot.

Another favorite spot for fireworks viewing is from the end of Main Street, U.S.A. where the train station is. Since we usually leave right after the fireworks, we can scoot right out from that vantage point, and still have a pretty good view of everything.

I hope that helps as you do your vacation planning. Have a blast!
