Hi there Archie, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. It looks like your vacation is just around the corner, so let's get going!
During the current phase of reopening, all Guests must have a Disney Park Pass reservation to visit a theme park. I consulted the
Availability Calendar, and it looks like as of right now, the
Magic Kingdom Park is not accepting any more reservations for the last week of April or the first week of May. If you're looking to add 3 more Mouseketeers to your crew, I suggest logging on to
My Disney Experience and checking daily for reservations. My
planDisney pal, Sarah B was able to get her stepmother last-minute reservations at both Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios when she decided to join the family just days before their trip earlier this month. For weeks, those days had been "sold out," but she must have lucked out when another Guest cancelled. Because the Availability Calendar does not update in real-time, I suggest going directly to the
Disney Park Pass reservation page to check for openings.
Another option is to make sure the extra three members of your party have the
Park Hopper option added to their theme park tickets. With this upgrade, the extra three Guests can visit a theme park with availability in the morning, and hop to Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 PM. To check the status of Park Hopping, consult the
My Disney Experience Mobile App or call (407)-560-5000.
I hope one of these scenarios works out for you, Archie. I'll send some pixie dust vibes your way! Have a magical vacation, and if there's anything else we can do before your adventure begins, come back and see us again.
You've got a friend in me,
Betsy
