Hi there, If we went from a party of 7 to a party of 3 and our travel agent cancelled and rebooked us for the same days but our ticket numbers changed do we need to re-scan our new tix into the app to make park reservations?

    Hello Shayla,

Thanks for bringing us your question. I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting Disneyland Resort in just a few days. What a great way to kick off what is sure to be a magical year!

If your travel agent cancelled your original booking any tickets and reservation details associated with that Vacation Package should no longer be valid. You'll want to be sure your new resort reservation is linked to your Disneyland Account as well as the new theme park tickets for your modified party. Theme park reservations are required in addition to valid admission for entry into the parks, so you must have reservations in place for the newly issued tickets. You can confirm your existing tickets and reservations by clicking "My Disneyland" along the menu bar at the top of the screen. Once signed in, click "Ticket and Reservation Details" to confirm the old reservations no longer exist, and then proceed to link your new tickets.

I took a look at the availability calendars and see that at the time of my writing, both parks show availability next week except on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. On that date, only Disney California Adventure Park appears to be available. I love spending time there, particularly in Cars Land, which has some incredible theming and attractions. You'll also want to grab a warm and gooey cookie from Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, located just outside of the entrance to Incredicoaster at some point during your day as well. I can practically smell them now!

You'll certainly fill a full day, and then some, at either of the parks but if you need itinerary recommendations please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. We're always glad to share our favorite experiences. If you have additional questions or need tech support you can also reach out to a Cast Member by phone as well.

Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year!
