When we went to MVMCP in the past, we received a complementary 5x7 Christmas photo.Do you know if they are doing that this year? I thought I had read that they were offering a discount on something through photopass, but I never received anything. Thx!

Hi, Tracie!  Walt Disney World no longer includes the complimentary holiday photo with your admission to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but instead, you get to choose photos taken that night at a 40% discount.

In order to get the discount, you must have had your photos taken during the party and then keyed on to a special PhotoPass card, available only during the party.  The PhotoPass number on the back of this special holiday PhotoPass card is your discount code, and you can purchase your photos using the code for 40% off.

While I loved having the free photo waiting for me when I returned from a magical vacation and a wonderful time at the party, it's even better to browse through the photos taken over the course of the evening and choose the photos that we like the best.  I have a much better chance of having everyone's eyes open, at least half of us smiling, and most of us looking in the direction of the camera this way!
