Went last Jan and scraped ice off windows,  too cold to enjoy. So taking kids and grandkids to an amazing resort waterpark. Want good warm weather and not there on your spring break . What do u suggest?

Hi, Jill!  I moved with my family to Orlando for about five years, but we arrived in late fall of some of the coldest weather Florida had seen.  At the end of our first winter down there, we had gone through more wood in our fireplace than we had in the previous winter up here in New Jersey!  I couldn't wait to move back home!

This year, spring break is early for many people because of how early Easter arrives.  I would say for warm weather and lower crowds, look about two weeks after Easter through Memorial day weekend, or the last week of August through much of the month of September.  With the exception of Labor Day weekend, that is usually a great time to go for crowds, but the end of the summer can be very hot and humid.

I hope this gives you some options to think about!  Happy planning!
