Welcome to planDisney, Orlando. We are glad you brought your question to us today.
To manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort introduced the
Disney Park Pass system. At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up will need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to valid admission in order to enter a theme park. I strongly recommend checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar prior to purchasing your tickets. Theme park reservations are limited and availability can change at any time. I have been keeping an eye on the calendar, and I know some upcoming dates have little or no availability.
I think it is smart to buy Disney Gift Cards every month as sort of a vacation savings plan -- I do this too. You can use Disney Gift Cards to
purchase theme park tickets online at disneyworld.com, but you can only use one card per transaction. However, you can combine and transfer balances on your gift cards at
disneygiftcard.com. The maximum amount on any one card is $1000, so if you are buying multiple tickets you may want to split your purchase into multiple transactions so you can use all your gift cards.
Orlando, I hope you found this information helpful. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney. We are always happy to help.
