I went to Disney World and could "Assign" my wife's ticket to her through the Disney World app. We are now going to Disneyland and wanted to use that same feature since we could see each other's plans. Is this available for Disneyland?

    Howdy Matthew! Welcome to planDisney!

We're so glad that you brought your question to us and how exciting that you're planning a Holiday Season visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I think the end of the year is one of the most beautiful times to see the Parks because the Cast Members really go all out with the decorations and you'll be feeling festive in no time at all.

I see that you've had some experience with the My Disney Experience App at the Walt Disney World Resort. Things work a little bit differently out on the West Coast. You'll need to download the Disneyland Mobile App and I'm afraid that there is no Family & Friends List like you'll find at Walt Disney World. We can, however, link our tickets together, which will place you all in a group so that you may access park reservations and book Lightning Lanes together. Please note that dining reservations and Enchanting Extras are only visible to the Guest who actually made the reservation. At this time, there is no way to share these plans within the App.

To link tickets to other accounts, use the Disneyland Mobile App and go to the "☰" Features Menu. Scroll down and select "Link to Account" and then scan the bar code of the ticket that you would like to link to your account. Alternatively, you may also manually enter the ticket ID number. This can also be done at the Disneyland website. Hover the cursor over "My Disneyland" on the banner and select "Link Tickets and Passes." On the next screen, enter the ID number of the ticket you'd like to link.

With all that tech stuff done, let's talk about your Holiday visit! You're going to love seeing the Parks and Hotels so decorated! My favorite thing is to grab a cup of hot chocolate and watch A Christmas Fantasy Parade on Main Street, U.S.A. Trust me, you'll be humming that song long after Santa has rolled by in his sleigh! And don't forget to catch Haunted Mansion Holiday, a fan favorite attraction overlay. This year, we're supposed to be getting an all new expanded queue section along with Madame Leota's Carriage House at the exit!

Matthew, I hope this information was helpful for you and please feel free to write back to us if you have any further questions! We're always ready to assist and we'd love to continue being involved in planning your trip! We'll see ya real soon!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
