Hi Ashley and welcome to
planDisney!
I’m sorry to hear that your friend wasn’t able to make it during your visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort in October. I’m happy to help you figure out how to use her extra ticket.
If her ticket is linked to your
My Disney Experience account and you still see it listed as an active ticket, you can go ahead and reassign it to yourself. To do that, log into your My Disney Experience account, go to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” to view the tickets linked to your account. On the right side of your screen, select the drop down that says, “Reassign Ticket” and you will see a list of all of the friends and family members linked to your account.
Once that ticket is assigned to you, go ahead and make your
Disney Park Pass reservation for your February visit and you will be all set!
If the ticket is no longer listed on your account, don’t worry. I have a few steps for you to follow to be able to use that ticket.
Send an email to WDW Guest Services- Ticket Usage at
ticket.usage@DisneyWorld.com including the following items:
-Make sure to include a copy of the front and back of your tickets (if you don’t have a hard copy of your tickets, include the confirmation numbers you received in an email when you purchased the tickets.)
-Include your name
-Daytime telephone number where you can be reached
-Where and when the ticket was purchased
-Purchaser’s name
-Form of payment used
Explain your situation in the email and within a few days, a Cast Member will reach out to you. Disney will send you a new confirmation number. Just link that number to your My Disney Experience account and you will be able to make your Disney Park Pass Reservation for your visit in February!
Ashley, I hope this information is helpful. Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions!
