Nicole from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I went to Disney in California in 2021 but the friend I was supposed to go with didn’t show, so I never used their ticket. Am I still able to access that ticket even now and use it for the parks if the price is the same? I would need the eticket as well.

    Hello there, Nicole!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question about theme park tickets. I’m glad to hear you’d like to make another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth

Did you purchase the ticket originally, Nicole? If so, to see the details of a Disney eTicket purchased online, search for the confirmation email you should have received when buying your tickets. The subject line of my most recent ticket transaction email was “Disneyland Confirmation” along with the ticket confirmation number in parentheses. In this email, you can find all the information about your ticket transaction, including the date of purchase, the type and length of the tickets, the cost of the tickets, and the method you used to pay. Click the link that reads “Access Your eTickets” to view the actual ticket.

While the theme park ticket has likely already reached its expiration date, the price you paid for a completely unused theme park ticket can indeed be applied as credit toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value at the current price. If you have additional questions or would like to upgrade to a valid ticket, please call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member who can help you. Be sure to have all your ticket and payment information ready when you call.

Your Disney eTicket can be scanned directly from your mobile device once you arrive at the theme park entrances, or you have the option of printing it out at home before you visit. You can also link the theme park ticket to the Disneyland mobile app on your smartphone, which is what I recommend so you’ll always have it handy. Once you have accessed your ticket online you can link it to your app by scanning or entering the ticket ID number.

I hope this answers your question, Nicole. Please feel free to come back again with more questions as you prepare for your theme park adventures!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
