I went on a cruise in April when they had the free trial for iMessage texting. Will this be available on my upcoming Christmas cruise for free?

    Ahoy, Mike!

It's great to hEAR from you again! I know how excited you must be to sail with Disney Cruise Line during the holiday SEAson! I just returned from a Very Merrytime Cruise with Mickey and the gang, and it was so magical! Disney Cruise Line really knows how to celebrate this special time of yEAR on the high seas, so you are in for a fantastic vacation.

Mike, I'm happy to report iMessage texting is available aboard Disney Cruise Line. My husband held down the fort last week while we sailed, and I loved being able to text him frequently without having to use my internet package. You should not have any problems once you are connected to the DCL-Guest Wi-Fi in airplane mode. I do want to mention that you won't be able to send pictures and videos, but emojis can be included in your messages!

One event you don't want to miss is the Gingerbread Cookie Decorating! There's no sign-up required; just check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or the Personal Navigator (paper newsletter) for the times and location. My daughter and I loved creating ours last week, and they tasted (and smelled!) absolutely delicious!

I hope you have both a merry and magical time next week! If you have any other last-minute questions, please let us know.

    Bon Voyage!
