Went on a awesome trip to WDW Aug. 09 and would like to the grandma's in the fall of 2010. Is there any events/ activites that would be great for the grams? We want to make this trip a special one for them. Thanks much!

I had no idea Grandmothers got such fabulous perks!  I had heard it was a terrific job, but now I'm convinced!

You will find a couple of special things taking place in the fall at Walt Disney World.  The big one is the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.  This takes place over the course of a 45 day period each fall, and is a wonderful opportunity to sample cuisine from all over the world, take part in special demonstrations, and enjoy the fabulous Party of the Senses, which is a special dinner hosted by a group of excellent chefs, offering incredible food, wine and entertainment.  Some of the events require advanced reservations, so keep watching www.disneyworld.com for more information as it gets closer to the event.

Also, the Magic Kingdom plays host to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party!  Even grandmoms can dress up in Halloween costumes and enjoy trick or treating (although they don't have to wear costumes - but they can still trick or treat!).  This event features a special Halloween themed parade and fireworks display, as well as dance parties and other fun but not too scary Halloween events.  This is a separately ticketed event that takes place on several nights throughout the months of September and October.

I hope the vacation turns out to be absolutely magical for all of you!  I'm sure where there are grandmoms, there is bound to be an extra dose of pixie dust!
