    Welcome new Moms and Dads! We (me, DH, DS and DD both 4) will stay over night at AKL (standard view) on 14th and have ADR at Sanaa. We'll use the walkway over. Where is the best place to request a room for the shortest walk over to Sanaa with no stroller.

    Thanks you for the warm welcome! I'm very proud and honored to be a part of the panel, and I hope I can help you with your question!

    Since Animal Kingdom Lodge is surrounded by Savannahs, there really aren't any "short-cuts" to get over to Kidani Village. You can actually see the Kidani Village from many places along Sunset Savannah of Jambo house. To walk over to Kidani Village, you'll need to go out the main lobby doors into the Porte Cochere.

    Due to this, the closest rooms, will actually be any along the lobby, or in the Ostrich or Giraffe Trails - provided you aren't too far down either trail. The walk between the two takes about 10 minutes (depending on how fast you walk, of course with 4-yr olds it may take a little longer!).

    Don't forget, if you decide not to walk, you'll be able to catch a ride on any Downtown Disney Bus to get from Jambo House to Kidani Village. To return to Jambo House, hop on any theme park bus.

    I hope you have a great time! Don't forget to grab a calender of resort events to see what's happening during your stay! My kids love the storytelling, musical parade, and night-vision goggles!
