Hi, it is a weird question but if I buy water bottles in Walmart for example can I take them to Disney? My daughter drinks a lot of water. Thanks

Hi Ana!  That is not a weird question at all!  We actually see your question quite a bit at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Yes, you may bring in your own water bottles, whether you would like to bring in bottled water that you have purchased elsewhere, or refillable bottles such as Camelback or Yeti containers.  Just make sure you take a look at the list of prohibited items in the Walt Disney World Property Rules.  For instance, glass containers (other than small jars such as for baby food) are not allowed.

My go-to park bag has a pocket on the side that is perfect for a water bottle.  I always bring my own.  Especially during the warmer months, it is important to stay hydrated, so bringing your own water bottles is a smart idea.

Ana, Guests may also receive complimentary cups of ice water at all Quick-Service dining locations or stands where fountain beverages are sold.  Just ask!  Sometimes you will also see trays with cups of water set out for Guests to take.  I have also seen some bottle-filling stations installed, so keep an eye out for those as well.

Have a wonderful visit, and please let us know if you have any other questions that we can help you with.
