Welcome to planDisney, Yaribeth!
I'm so excited you found us as you plan your next adventure to The Happiest Place on Earth. It's only natural to want to experience all the attractions, and I'm here to help! One thing I love about Disney Parks is that
everyone is welcome and can enjoy the magic, no matter their shape or size – a true testament to the resort's inclusivity!
Just last spring, I swung by Guest Relations to ask about weight limitations on rides. A super friendly cast member mentioned that the
Silly Symphony Swings might not be the best fit for larger guests due to its single-seat design, most attractions use safety restraint belts that can accommodate up to 600 pounds. Some of these rides include
Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters and
Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, among many others.
Space Mountain might cause a slight delay for larger guests because they may need to wait for a specific vehicle to ensure safe weight distribution.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is another excellent option as it can accommodate larger guests, though sometimes not everyone in your party can ride together.
As far as height limitations, my pal, Panelist
Greg L., is a tall and
Goofy guy who loves zipping around the park and hopping on all the thrill rides he can find. Even with his height, he never loses his head (unlike
Constance Hatchway's husbands!). Check out
this answer where he shares some of his experiences at the resort.
Now, if you were concerned about minimum height requirements, here’s the handy
Attractions and Entertainment page where you can filter through all of the attractions based on how tall a guest needs to be to ride.
Overall, there are plenty of attractions for guests of all shapes and sizes to enjoy. You and your cast of characters are sure to have a fantastic time on your visit!
I hope I've helped ease any worries about weight and height limitations at the Disneyland Resort, Yaribeth! There's no reason why you shouldn't enjoy all the rides and attractions. If you have more questions, feel free to
message me again. I’d love to share
my favorite tips for making your visit extra special!
