Hey there, Hallie! Welcome back to planDisney with another great question. It sounds like you have a wonderful vacation coming up soon! Escaping to the peace and tranquility of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will a be a great way for your family to kick back and relax while enjoying the magic of a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As you may already be aware, Walt Disney World Resort has implemented numerous health and safety measures, including enhanced cleaning procedures in all Guest areas. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort are relatively spread out and physical distancing should not be an issue, even if the cabins adjacent to yours are occupied. My friend and fellow panelist Angie mentioned that during her last stay, she never once saw the Guests staying in the cabin next door. I think you’ll find that your family has plenty of space and privacy. You can zoom in on this resort map to view the orientation of the cabins. Even better, you can use Google Street View to take a virtual drive through a cabin loop to get a sense of how far apart they are. (There is also some extra Disney magic to be found in Google Street View!) You’ll notice that the cabin porches are all on the same side, so you will not be facing other Guests when relaxing outdoors on your porch. Please feel free to stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have. We are always happy to help. Enjoy your stay!Anne Marie
