Hiya, Pal! Welcome to planDisney!
I am excited to help you plan a visit to the Disneyland Resort! I love traveling with a large group. There is something special about sharing magical moments and making memories together that will last long after the vacation ends!
Since your visit is just around the corner, let's bibbidi bobbidi boo our way right into the details and get you the information you need to book your magical adventure.
I am going to walk you through the process because the answer is... it depends! The cost of your visit will vary based on which theme park(s) you want to visit, whether you choose a One Day One Park ticket or a Park Hopper ticket, if you decide to add Lightning Lane passes, and the ages of the Mouseketeers in your group. But don't worry! I'll help point you in the right direction and get you started on your countdown to fun.
The Disneyland Resort is home to two incredible theme parks.
Disneyland Park is Walt Disney's original park and features many beloved classic attractions, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, exciting entertainment, and the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Disney California Adventure Park is home to
Cars Land, Avengers Campus, and my personal favorite attraction, the Incredicoaster!
Your first step is deciding whether you'd like to visit one park or both. If you'd like to experience both parks in the same day, you'll need a Park Hopper ticket. This allows you to "hop" between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park throughout the day. You'll choose a starting park when booking, then can make your way across the Esplanade and enjoy the other park as well.
To check exact pricing, head to the
Disneyland Resort website. Under the Tickets & Parks tab, select Buy Theme Park Tickets. From there, you'll enter the number of guests, choose either a One Day One Park ticket or Park Hopper ticket, select your visit date, and choose your starting park. After clicking continue, you'll see options to add Lightning Lane passes, purchase a Disney Dining Card, which gives you a discount on a gift card eligible to be redeemed at participating food and beverage locations, and add parking if needed.
I highly recommend adding
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your tickets! It is a faster to the fun way that allows you to bypass the standard standby queue at select attractions by reserving return times and entering through the Lightning Lane entrance. It can help you fit more magic into your day. One of my favorite attractions at Disneyland Park is Space Mountain. Standby waits can climb faster than Buzz Lightyear to infinity, but with a Lightning Lane reservation, you can blast off on your adventure much sooner if availability allows!
Friend, Lightning Lane Multi Pass also includes unlimited digital downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos for the day! With a group as large as yours, you'll want to capture every magical moment. Disney PhotoPass photographers can help make sure everyone is in the picture, creating memories worthy of being framed right alongside your favorite Disney stories.
I hope this helps you get started on booking a magical vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! Come back and visit us anytime if you have more questions. We're always happy to help you find your way to the magic!
