Hi Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to ask us about
Annual Pass Black-Out dates. As a long-time
Annual Passholder, I enjoy the
benefits having an AP holds. Discounts on merchandise and food, as well as unique experiences such as attraction previews, special events, and offers. I have found that since being an AP holder, I travel to the
Walt Disney World Resort more often, which allows me to experience part of the magic on an even greater scale!
Having recently renewed my Annual Pass, I’m happy to help answer your question. You are correct in that you are eligible to renew up to 60 days before and 30 days post your actual renewal date. You can opt to renew online, or in person, depending on your access to the parks. The renewal process online was quite easy, solely involving a series of clicks and payment, and I was done. My new AP showed up in
My Disney Experience App later on that same day. Although I had renewed a month before my actual renewal date, my new AP would not be in effect until my prior AP expires. In your case, your Weekday Select Annual Pass will remain in effect until August 7th, when your Pixie Dust Pass will become your active Annual Pass. In this case, you are bound by the Black Out dates associated with your Weekday Select AP.
I hope this helps you plan a most epic Walt Disney World vacation!
