    What week is jersey week this year? I am coming in November, and want to avoid Jersey week, but come before Thanksgiving crowds. What week would be best. Thanks

    Hi, Christine!  The New Jersey Education Association teachers' convention is taking place this year on November 3 and 4, making that week officially "Jersey Week".  Many of the public schools in New Jersey have the week off or a super long weekend so that the teachers may attend the convention.

    I would say if you planned any time after that weekend, you would be safe from the influx of New Jersey crowds.  Many of them will start the trek back to the Garden State as soon as the weekend is over and the kids have to go back to school.
