    For a week in Dec my family are so happy to be in Disney. The first 3 day is a reservation my daughter in law made and then we move to the second 4 day under my reservation. We will all be in the same room both times. Can we use one magic band per person ?

    I am sure visions of EARidescent decor, seasonal touches and holiday festivities are beginning to appEAR in your dreams knowing your Walt Disney World vacation is quickly approaching. You are sure to make many magical and memorable moments celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary and decking the halls with the spirit of the holidays. And experiencing two Walt Disney World Resorts is always a wonderful way to not only budget but explore the many Home Away From Home's this beautiful resort has to offer. 

    Your question is a great one and one I can happily clarify for you. Disney MagicBands come in many exciting colors and designs giving Guests the option to show their DisneySide. Disney MagicBands are worn around your wrist and are used to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort are able to unlock their resort room and can have charging privileges throughout their stay by tapping their Disney MagicBand at a touch point and entering a secure PIN which you assign yourself during online check-in. Once a Disney MagicBand is assigned to you it is yours and ONLY yours and can be used for any Walt Disney World trip as long as the battery is still working. In your case, it will be. In fact, I have so many Disney MagicBands I have lost count and I bring them all because you never know which one will work with my Disney Inspired outfit. So to answer your question, when you transfer to your next Walt Disney World Resort you can continue to use the same Disney MagicBand. There is no reason to purchase a new one for each Guest but remember Disney MagicBands can not be interchanged between Guests.
