We are going week of April 21, 2013. I chose this time of year because I thought the crowds would be low and the weather would be nice. Our first trip took place in August 2011. I was very hot and crowded. Is this a good time to go?

Welcome to the DIsney Parks Moms Panel, Chandra! Congratulations on your upcoming Walt DIsney World vacation! To be perfectly honest, it can be quite difficult to predict the weather and crowd levels with 100% certainty. The average high temperature for Orlando in April is traditionally in the low 80s with the average low temperature usually in the upper 50s. The independent website allears.net features a Historic Attendance Levels Chart which categorizes mid March through late April as "highest attendance" due to Spring Break Holidays and late April as "moderate attendance." I have visited during late April twice now and found the crowds to be manageable and the weather to be pleasant for park touring. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back should you have any additional questions as your planning progresses. Best wishes for a magical trip, Chandra!
    Happy Planning,
