We'd like our son to go into the children's club at AK Lodge while we eat at Jiko's. I know that we need to pay for 2 hours minimum. I was a little concerned about if our meal over ran, can we pay for the extra hour when we collect him if we need to?

Hi Julie! No need to worry! In my experience you settle up with the Children's Activity Centers when you pick up your children. You must pay for a minimum of two hours, but your child is welcome to stay for more (or less) time, and you'll pay the amount due when you pick him up. (We usually charge the fee to our room using our Key to the World card.) Two hours seems like plenty of time for a meal, but I've found that the service at Jiko, and the other Signature restaurants at Disney, can be quite leisurely and your dining experience will probably last longer than two hours if you eat more than one course.
