    We'd like to rent a car for a portion of our stay. Is there a local company that will bring the car to us at the Grand Floridian?

    Thanks for your question!

    I recently answered a question about car rentals at Walt Disney World.  

    While I am not aware of an Orlando area car rental company that will deliver a car to your resort, Disney has an easy solution. Disney offers a complimentary shuttle from your resort to their nearby Disney Car Care Center. It is only 2 miles away from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Car Rentals are available there from National and Alamo car rental companies.

    You simply call (407) 824-3470, extension 1, to arrange a ride. It is very convenient. They will also offer a shuttle back to your resort after you return your car. The shuttle service is available from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm on weekdays, and to 5:30 pm on weekends.

    You can also rent a car at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, also with Alamo or National. But the first option is by far the more convenient for you, based on your staying at the Grand Floridian.
