Welcome to planDisney, Kama! We are glad you brought your question to us.
To manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort has introduced the
Disney Park Pass reservation system. At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up must have both a Disney Park Pass reservation and valid
admission in order to enter a theme park. Disney Park Pass reservations are limited. I've been checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar, and I know some upcoming dates have no availability for some parks. If no Disney Park Pass reservations are available, the online system will not allow tickets to be purchased.
I can't say whether or not Walt Disney World management will decide to add additional Disney Park Pass reservations on any given date. I do know that other Guests' plans change all the time, and sometimes a date that was previously sold out could have reservations become available. You're welcome to keep checking to see if Disney Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom Park might become available, however, my suggestion would be to consider a ticket that includes the
Park Hopper Option. This way you could make your Disney Park Pass reservations for whichever park(s) have availability on your dates, and then "hop" over to
Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin. Disney Park Pass reservations are only required for the first park you plan to visit each day. No reservations are necessary to hop to a second (or third or fourth) park.
Kama, I'm hoping that whatever you decide your plans work out and you'll be able to have a magical visit. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to stop by planDisney again anytime. We are always happy to help.
