Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Beverley. We're so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear that you'll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! You must be super excited.
Having groceries delivered to your Disney Resort hotel is a great way to make sure you have your favorite snacks and beverages on hand. As a mom of three, I always place an grocery delivery order. The last thing I need on my hands is a "hangry" kiddo! There are several third-party services that offer grocery delivery to Disney Resort hotels, but my preference is Garden Grocer. I've been using this Orlando-based delivery service for years now! To place an order, visit their website, select your delivery date and time, and fill your online cart with everything you'll need. I usually order fresh fruit, on-the-go breakfast items, snacks, and bottled water. When my kids were little, I included diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials in my order too! You'll select your Disney Resort hotel when you complete the checkout process. Your groceries will then be delivered to
Bell Services at your hotel on your selected delivery date. If you have perishable items, rest assured that Bell Services will keep them refrigerated for you! When you're ready to gather your groceries, you can pick them up from Bell Services or call Bell Services from your in-room phone to request that they be delivered directly to your room
(please note that if you do request to have the items delivered to your room, a nominal fee will be charged to your room folio).
Did you know that you are most welcome to
bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the theme parks with you? Before we leave our hotel room in the morning, I pack a cooler with snacks and bottled water for our pixie-dusted adventures.
Loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks, so I fill resealable bags with ice to keep our snacks and drinks nice and cold in the cooler.
I hope this was helpful, Beverley. I'm wishing you a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
