Where on the website do I find a schedule of events at the resorts. We are staying at Old Key West in May 2020 and I believe there is a run and a few other activities. Is this listed somewhere or do we have to wait until we get there to find out? Thank you

    chEARs Vicki!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to love the genteel charm of Disney's Old Key West Resort. I love the hammocks swinging in the breeze, and the conch fritters at Olivia's Cafe are delicious!

There are so many fun activities at the Resort, from renting Surrey Bikes at Hank's Rent 'N Return to Shuffleboard at the Hospitality House, you will have plenty of things to do and enjoy! You will receive an activity calendar when you arrive at the Resort that will detail daily activities. Plan on spending at least one evening roasting marshmallows by the fire, followed by Movie Under the Stars. Unfortunately, the Resort Experiences Guides are not online, but my dEAR friend Tabitha has a great tip! She suggests you google "Resort Experiences Guide Disney," which will bring up the activities guides for each Resort. I tried out her suggestion and found a site that listed the Resorts alphabetically. I scrolled down and saw the calendar for November, so it looks like you should be able to find your Resort activities a few weeks before your arrival!

In terms of races/runs, the fun happens most weeks throughout the yEAR. Old Key West Resort hosts a Southernmost Point Fun Run (usually on Wednesdays) with registration starting at 7:00 am, and the race itself at 7:30 am. You can pre-register, and there is a registration fee per participant. You usually get Resort-themed swag, which is super cute too! My goal one of these days is to participate in the Beignet Fun Run at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Why, you ask? You get to eat beignets at the end!!

Vicki, I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. We are all EARs!
