What is weather like in Oct. Is it too cold for the water parks?

    Shannon,

Definitely not! I love the water parks at this time of year, as the temperatures are still what I consider to be comfortable for swimming, but the crowds from the heights of summer are gone!

While the average temperature (as per the National Weather Service) in October is 75 degrees, the average high is 85, which is really the number you want to pay attention to. That is what the temperature will be like in the early afternoons when you are probably hitting the slides. And that is an average. It can certainly get higher.

I was there last year in December, and it was certainly warm enough to swim.

Final point. I know that the resort pools are heated. I don't know for a fact that the water parks are too, but I would guess that they might be as well.

I hope that this helps. Feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
