What is the weather like from mid September to the end of September?

    Hello Judith,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  If I could choose any month of the year to visit Walt Disney World, it would definitely be September.  I think it's the perfect combination of lower crowds, since most kids are back in school, and sunny Florida weather, which makes for some great time at the pool.  If you time your dates right, you can even catch both Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  Win-win!

In terms of weather, it will still feel like summer.  Expect it to be somewhat humid, with average highs in the upper 80s and average lows in the low to mid-70s.  Afternoon thunderstorms aren't uncommon, but they usually pass quickly, so don't let them scare you away from the parks if they pop up.

I hope that helps with your planning, Judith!  Please write back to us if we can help answer any other questions.  We love to talk Disney!
