    What is the weather like the end of October? I want to be packed properly but not overpacked!!!!

    Hi Lisa!

    I think you're going to find that you love visiting Walt Disney World in October! It's one of my favorite times to visit.

    In general, we've found that the October weather is perfect for us - cooler than the peak of summer, but warm enough to still visit the pool and water parks!

    We normally plan on shorts and t-shirts, sundresses, and bathing suits for during the day. At night we may decide on long pants or capris, along with a top. Since my daughter is ALWAYS cold in air conditioning, we also bring along a light sweatshirt or jacket for her.

    Also, if you're planning on dressing up for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, be sure to keep in mind that you may be climbing on and off rides throughout the night, so your costume shouldn't be heavy or restraining. We usually don't plan on much (if any) face makeup to go along with our costumes. If we end up with a humid night, it would run all over - YUCK!

    And, don't forget the sunscreen! While the temperatures may not feel as hot as July - the Florida sun is still pretty strong during this time of year!
