Hi Moms! How is the weather in Disney World in February? We are going to Disney 2/12-2/18, just wondering what type of clothes should we plan on packing. Also, how do you think the crowds will be around this time? Thanks for the help moms!

    Hi Lisa,

I've visited Walt Disney World in mid-February during six of the last nine years, and will be doing so again in 2013. The weather is variable, but can be quite chilly in the evenings. I generally wear capris or jeans into the parks, with lots of layers on top - a short sleeved tee, covered by a long sleeved tee, covered by a fleece or sweatshirt. As the day warms up, I just peel off the layers for comfort. Of course, you should always check the weather forecast immediately before you travel. This year might involve a heat wave or a deep freeze. Always double check to be best prepared.

I've just checked the Crowd Calendar for you on the independent website touringplans.com. The beginning part of your trip is expected to have moderate crowds - mostly 5s and 6s on a scale of 1-10. The crowds will greatly increase beginning on the 16th to 9 and 10 level due to the influx of guests visiting for the President's Week holiday. Plan to get your "must dos" done in the first few days of your trip and then get your relaxing-by-the-pool time in during the last few days.

    Have a wonderful Disney vacation!
