Ahoy, Yvette!
You'll be escaping the frigid weather to sail away to paradise on your Disney Cruise Line vacation when February rolls around! Doesn't that sound wonderful? A magical cruise adventure is a perfect getaway from winter because you'll be able to feel the warm sunshine on your face again while soaking in plenty of vitamin "SEA."
Yvette, my family enjoyed a
Bahamian sailing with Mickey in early February a couple of yEARs ago. We found the temperatures to be quite pleasant with highs in the upper 70s with lows around 70 degrees. It appears
Key West also experiences similar temperatures around this time. We packed warm weather clothing for during the day and brought some sweatshirts and long pants for the evenings. I've found that having layers helps no matter what time of yEAR we sail. Sometimes it can be cool in the indoor spaces, so I always like to have a light jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt handy. A great resource as you gather everything you'll need for your vacation is the
Disney Cruise Line Packing List. And you don't want to forget about
Pirate Night! It is one of my favorite activities when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. My pirate crew enjoys donning red and black for the evening's festivities. One reason we love it so much is all the fun
meet-and-greet opportunities with the Disney Characters in their pirate garb! We always have a swashbuckling good time, especially when we see the sky light up at the fireworks spectacular.
Thank you for sending in your question! We hope you'll let us know if you think of anything else before you cast off this February.
